DIY Kit, Monster Deterrent: Black Label
Prepare extra-strength black label Monster Deterrent at home.
"Ingredients" card and "Instructions" card are included in the purchase.
Ingredients
full moon water; garlic essential oil; obsidian chip
Ms. Rosie crafts each bottle of anti-monster mist using water that has been charged under the light of a full moon. Magic people believe the full moon can make us feel powerful. Full moons are the perfect time to blast negativity out of your way, and then have a super-lit party afterward.
After the moon water is charged, Ms. Rosie adds garlic essential oil. Garlic has traditionally been used to guard against evil, and to increase physical strength. Garlic is SUPER SMELLY so Rosie only adds a few drops to the bottle so the oil is diluted.
Before Ms. Rosie seals the spray bottle, she adds a teeny piece of obsidian that she got from Artes & Crafts in Hartford, Michigan. You should look up cool facts about the rock in your potion! The science of geology is amazing, and it’s very cool for adults to be psyched about rocks.
Obsidian has traditionally been used to make VERY sharp weapons, and in many cultures, obsidian is used in spiritual ceremonies for protection.
Instructions
Ms. Rosie suggests that you, a responsible adult, write your problem down on a piece of paper.
Light the paper on fire (carefully).
Imagine the source of your fear or anxiety burning up.
Spray the Black Label Extra-Strength Extra Stink Monster Deterrent onto the paper to extinguish the fire.
Rosie suggests you say, “Get the <expletive> out of here” as you spray, or something similar.
Safety Note:
Please do not spray Black Label Extra-Strength Extra Stink Monster Deterrent at people, animals, or living beings. If your problem is caused by a specific person, you can symbolically write their name on your paper, or do a quick sketch of their face.
Secret Note: Ms. Rosie’s mom originally used a 2 ounce bottle of “Obsession” by Calvin Klein as a monster deterrent. It smelled really good.
